What we collect when you use datum24h.com and the Datum Agent, why, who helps us process it, and how to download or delete it.

Last updated 4 October 2026

This policy explains how Datum ("Datum24h", "we") handles personal data on datum24h.com, in the Datum Agent, and when we contact businesses about our services. Questions: privacy@datum24h.com · Umair Ashraf, 444 Alaska Avenue, Suite CQY472, Torrance, CA 90503, USA.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address and, if you give it, your name. You sign in with a one-time code sent by email; we store only a hashed copy of each code, which expires after 10 minutes.
  • Your work in the Agent: your chats, files you attach, what you build (code, previews, quality reports) and memories the Agent keeps to help you (for example "my brand colour is teal"). These are private to your account.
  • Billing: your plan, credit balance and a history of builds, top-ups and refunds. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy; we never see or store your card details.
  • Enquiries: what you send through our forms or the search assistant's contact form (name, company, email, phone, message).
  • Basic usage: pages visited and actions taken on the site (for example using a free tool or starting a checkout), measured without cookies; which page an AI assistant (such as ChatGPT) referred you to; and how our search assistant routed a question.
  • Where a visit came from: the page you first landed on, the referring site and campaign tags (UTM), kept in one first-party cookie so an enquiry can be credited to the right source. It holds no personal data.
  • Bookings: when you book a call through Cal.com, your name, email, time zone and the time you chose.

Business contact information we use for outreach

We contact businesses in the United States about services that fit them. For that we keep business contact information only: the company's name, website, category, city and state, its public phone number, and an email address the business publishes on its own website. We record where each record came from and when. Our sources are:

  • the business's own website (read within its robots.txt rules);
  • open map and place data (OpenStreetMap, Foursquare Open Source Places);
  • public government records: state contractor licence files, city building permits, state business filings and SEC EDGAR filings;
  • publicly issued website certificates (certificate transparency logs) and public DNS records;
  • information people give us directly.

We never guess email addresses, buy contact lists, or collect personal social-media profiles. Every email we send names Datum, includes our postal address, and has a one-click unsubscribe link. To stop all contact, use that link, reply "stop", or write to privacy@datum24h.com: your address and business are added to our suppression list across every system we run within 24 hours, and we keep only what is needed to make sure you are never contacted again. Records we never use are deleted after 12 months.

Why we use it

To provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep it secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), to answer enquiries and follow up on them (legitimate interest; you can object at any time), and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Who helps us

  • AI model providers process your prompts and attachments to generate replies and builds. For customers we only use providers we have approved for customer traffic.
  • Lemon Squeezy (payments and invoicing), our email provider (sign-in codes and messages), Cal.com (booking), PostHog (cookieless site analytics), an email verification service (to check that a business address exists before we write to it) and our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, United States).

We don't sell personal data and don't use your work to train our own models.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (30 days) and one first-party cookie that remembers which page and campaign brought you to the site (90 days, no personal data). Site analytics run without cookies. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Your account and work are kept while your account exists. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact.

Your rights

You can download your data (account, credit history, refunds, chats, builds and memories) and delete your account at any time from the account menu in the Datum Agent. Deleting removes your chats, builds, memories and sign-in data; we keep anonymised billing records. You can also ask us to correct, restrict or explain how we use your data, or complain to your data protection authority.

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Email privacy@datum24h.com with the subject "Privacy request"; we answer within 45 days and won't treat you differently for asking.

Children

datum24h.com isn't intended for children under 16.
